{"id":953,"date":"2018-04-11T22:55:26","date_gmt":"2018-04-11T22:55:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tietondrivebiblechapel.org\/info\/?page_id=953"},"modified":"2018-09-24T20:33:51","modified_gmt":"2018-09-24T20:33:51","slug":"adult","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/tietondrivebiblechapel.org\/info\/adult\/","title":{"rendered":"Adult"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Now that we are adults, we have it all together, right?<\/p>\n<p>One of the evidences of maturity in an adult is his recognition of how much he still needs to learn and\u00a0grow.\u00a0 The apostle Paul was ever pressing forward eager to\u00a0know more of the Savior\u2026wanting to \u201c<em>lay hold of that for which he had been laid hold of<\/em>\u201d (Philippians 3:12). \u00a0It is in fact, as we face the demands of adult life that we are confronted with such unique and complex issues as marriage, parenting, finances and careers, and our faith.\u00a0 These are vital life issues that arrest our attention and make us seek God\u2019s instruction and intervention in our lives.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1024 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/tietondrivebiblechapel.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/follow-300x220.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"355\" height=\"260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tietondrivebiblechapel.org\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/follow-300x220.png 300w, https:\/\/tietondrivebiblechapel.org\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/follow-768x563.png 768w, https:\/\/tietondrivebiblechapel.org\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/follow.png 846w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 355px) 100vw, 355px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It is to that end that we seek to provide opportunities for instruction from the Bible, discussion and dialogue, occasional retreats and fellowship with other adults on the same journey of life.\u00a0 Paul\u2019s desire and ours is to present every person mature in Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Join us Sundays for consecutive bible teaching during our Family Bible Hour, during our Sunday School hour for more topical studies, mid-week for our various men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s Bible studies, or Wednesdays as we explore our faith through thought provoking videos that explore our faith.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Now that we are adults, we have it all together, right?
